The Orchestra

Under the artistic direction of Maestro Olivier Dejours assisted by Jean-Christophe Marq and Sylvie Pascal the Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra (MRSO) is made up of the finest musicians  Macedonia has to offer.

This country's pervasive musical tradition has begotten a talented, accomplished pool of musicians whose diligent study both here and abroad has pushed them over the edge of excellence. Their professionalism, exuberance and expertise has attracted world-class artists such as José Carreras and Zubin Mehta. Further testimony to the embracive nature of Macedonia's musical tradition can be seen in the numerous year-round musical events.

Tapping into this wealth of experience with enthusiasm, the Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra is moving forward with a variety of musical genres including classical music, film music, TV soundtracks and documentaries, music for video games, pop and rock. The richness of Macedonia's musical resources allows us to offer you not only out-of-the-ordinary musical combinations such as mixed choir or Balkan folk musicians, but also specialized services such as composition, orchestration and special arrangements.
In addition to the recording aspect this ensemble features a concert schedule and is associated with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra through projects of cultural events.
